We do not recommend the use of pirated material for a number of reasons, it is interesting to note however, the interactive commentary available on the pirate sites, that should be a part of democratic dialogue, but generally is not.

Historically, although often accused of anarchy, in the new world the pirates were the first to use profit sharing and to practice democracy. Regrettably, relevant facts that are otherwise not accessible, in graphic information that is mounted in these expensive productions - that are to begin with, financed in part by tax/drug dollars - is difficult to render, with the minimal budgets that educators have to work with. So rather than uploading, time and energy consuming, edited segments for educational purposes, the entire P2P archived program can be made more conveniently available ...Just like getting a book from a library. This, by comparison, could hardly be considered a criminal act.

Keeping in mind Eric Voegelin's historical perspective on Hegelian / Gnosis ...Consider if in fact Plotinus' condemnation of Gnosticism was directed at the the ancient practice of Gnosis, as practiced by the Buddhists, or was it more probably, rather a critique of the corruption of such a practice by those calling themselves "Gnostics"... given that Plotinus himself was inspired by the Vedic/Buddhist tradition of "direct knowledge"?

It may well be that the Pythagorean mysticism was influenced from this very same root and so why like so many other "oral traditions" it is missing and so often misrepresented. In light of the fact that the influence the Buddhist iconoclastic concept of the "wheel of the law" must have reached the west at least by the time of Alexander the Great .. it is difficult to imagine that it would not have had an effect on radical thinkers like Spartacus et al and his contemporaries like Jesus Christ et al ...In the quest for emancipation, one needs to abolish slavery!!!
