... in a recent media ethics dialogue, cc. below, with one of our fellow student/mentors it was suggested that we may have some experiences in common, in terms of the very limited recognition for our work ...i created "multi-media periodical" prototypes ("web pages" ) in the early '70's for "public access to public media" ...in terms of "free speech", it has not turned out the way it was intended.
...i am forwarding the dialogue and i invite you to participate in the questions and interact on the basis of mutual aid ... i.e.: v. The Media Monopoly ...or perhaps we can teach the people, that instead of feeding the plutocracy beast, they can use AI to send text messages, so they do not need to get repeated stress injury ... or is that Free Speech?

Media Free Times / AdBan /VFU was the prototype, before it was " marginalized quarantined and homogenized and then cloned " into BoobTube . Info noize overload drowns the young addicts ...makes them "stupid".
It will facilitate the process here if you would consider using the VFU* FeedBack Form ...now in development
Hubris is synonymous with "artificial ignorance" ...loosing contact with the higher mind and it is the root of the problem ...Bateson is not joking ..the "zombie addict stupefied gammas" run by "techno fascist alphas" ...i can't talk in tweets here...but its very simple to paraphrase Helvetius ..."people (the youth) are not born stupid, but it takes a lot of media dollars to make them that way"
BoobTube like most of the "social networks" is a media cesspool with no reciprocal communications with any efficiency at all, that just sucks intellectual property money and time up the vampire tube to the top .01%
...think "media antibodies" the chew up media monopoly and you'll start seeing what MFT_VFU is all about

...that is free media access for free speech and not "60$ - 80$ per month to watch your shit disappear on Boobtube"
...i need to keep this dialogue away from boob tubes so it does not drown in the cesspool of media noize ...

...and i do care about my own skin, in that it is part of the skin we all share, the Purusha (In Hinduism, Purusha (Sanskrit puruṣa, पुरुष "man, Cosmic man", in Sutra literature also called puṃs "man") is the "self" which pervades the universe. ...) and i do not want to live in an underground mound in the ice age eating radio active fish or some infernal overpopulated cesspool where you have to suck human blood just to survive!!!

You might actually find there is more attention to your work if presented where young people go (online) rather than schools, which draw people wanting certifications and structure.
The Bateson systemic loops with hubris is quite funny – I’m not sure he was being serious that hubris is the itself the subsystem, as it is one of many cognitive biases people have. Ignorance, poor attention, overload and overwhelm keep people suppressed from acting. Hubris is part of why power corrupts, but these days it is also willful corruption by those that actually are informed and know that the house of cards will crash. They just don’t care anymore.
