As per our phone conversation of a few moments ago we would very much appreciate a translation and a cultural description of the meaning of these Arabic letters that we found inscribed on a food tray and are sending a link with a scan image of the item:

i.e.: There is a question as to the actual meaning of "Halal" as described in Wikipedia as " by Law", as opposed to the probable more accurate meaning of "sweetness" or "wholesomeness" as per the passage listed in the Koran.
We would very much appreciate any information you can provide about this item and its history i.e.: why the need for an inscription of this type on a food tray. Thank You for your time
